US Commerce Secretary Gina Raimundo announced Sunday that she will arrive in Beijing for a multi-day visit, "packed with meetings with a number of Chinese officials and US business leaders in China."
Raimundo posted on the X platform a short video clip of her arrival in Beijing.
Raimundo's visit to China follows the visit of Secretary of State Anthony Blinken in June and Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen in early July, in an effort by Washington to resume contacts with China at the highest level.
