The second preliminary round of the Paris Squash Championships begins today

Today, Monday, the second preliminary round of the Paris Squash Championship, which will be hosted by the French capital, will start as the first tournament in the platinum category in the new season, from August 27 to September 2, with prize money amounting to $ 180,000 for men and the same amount for women.
 
The competitions are held with the participation of 96 of the best squash players in the world, men and women, in the shadow of the famous Eiffel Tower.
 
29 players from Egypt will participate in the tournament, 12 players in the men’s competitions, and 17 players in the women’s competitions. The names of the participants in the tournament are as follows:
 
12 players in the men's competition, namely: Ali Farag, Youssef Suleiman, Tariq Moamen, Fares Al-Dasouki, Karim Abdel-Gawad, Mazen Hisham, Youssef Ibrahim, Omar Mosaad, Karim Al-Hamami, Ali Abu Al-Anin, Muhammad Abu Al-Ghar, Yahya Al-Nusani.
 
17 players in the women’s competitions: Nouran Johar, Hania Al-Hamami, Nour Al-Tayeb, Salma Hani, Rawan Al-Arabi, Nour El-Sherbiny, Maryam Metwally, Amina Orfi, Hana Ramadan, Fayrouz Abu Al-Khair, Nour Abu Al-Makarem, Farida Muhammad, Hana Moataz, Nadine Shaheen Zena Mikoy, Nada Abbas, Sana Ibrahim.
 
Held in a glass arena at the Palais de Tokyo - one of the largest contemporary art centers in Europe - Paris Squash Alpine will be the first major professional squash tournament to be held in France since the 1994 men's French Open.
